Controls

Individual control devices can be thought of as the building blocks of an overall building management system. The type, number and complexity of individual control devices, and interfaces, varies enormously from one system to the next.

When designing a system we look to maintain an easily manageable level of complexity wherever possible, as in our experience over complexity often leads to reduced system reliability, increased costs, and frustration for the end user.

Control manufacturers have developed a wide array of control products specifically aimed at the building engineering arena. As a company we work hard to stay abreast of developments and innovations as they happen.

However whilst innovation is to be applauded, we are also mindful that emerging new products selected by us need to achieve a sustained level of industry validation and approval; in order for our clients to be assured that controls installed by us today will not cause operational issues tomorrow.

Typically we select control, associated BMS, and integration based products from the industry acknowledged leaders. Manufacturers such as: Trend, Honeywell, Siemens, Belimo, Vaisala, etc  Danfoss, Telemecanique, Johnsons, Krauss and Naimer, Dell, Sauter, Vacon, Socomec, Klockner and Moeller, Eldon, Sarel, etc. And through specialist suppliers such as; Sontay, RS Components, Electro Controls, Western Automation, Dabs, Spartan Controls, MGB, Control Center, CEF, BEW, Batts, F and S Cables, etc.

We work hard to develop good relationships with our suppliers, and have a structured methodology for highlighting any shortfalls that we may experience in items supplied to us (on a cost, quality, or reliability basis) for the end benefit of both our clients and ourselves.
